Quote of the day........

"When the archer misses the mark, he turns and looks for the fault within himself. Failure to hit the bull's eye is never the fault of the target. To improve your aim - improve yourself."

Quote of the day.........

"Goals give you more than a reason to get up in the morning; they are an incentive to keep you going all day. Goals tend to tap the deeper resources and draw the best out of life."

Update.........

"Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it."
Julius Henry "Groucho" Marx
1890-1977, Comedian and Film Star

I love the above quote as it highlights the element of choice we have in our lives. This time of year is seen as challenging by a lot of people as we have been off on a wonderful break for Christmas and New Year. Getting back into the "swing of things" can often leave people feeling low, depairing and demotivated.

Why not make a change in 2012 and view returning to work as the fuel you choose to ensure that you have a fantastic year. Work is the how you get somewhere, its what you do with what you earn that makes the massive difference.

So for those of you that are bemoaning the fact that you are returning to work after a superb festive period, remember it becomes a lot easier to return to work when you have a clear understanding of why you are going in the first place!!

It certainly focuses your mind on the positives and allows you to choose the attitude you are going to take towards each day.

Happy 2012, I know it's going to be an amazing year!
