What are you reading at the moment? What are you listening to on your MP3 player (or Walkman for those of you who haven't joined the digital revolution!!)? What kind of people are you talking to at the moment?
I ask these questions because the material we read, listen to and hear from peers and colleagues can have a big influence on the way you think, act and feel. If you are in a negative state of mind it is normally because you are thinking negative thoughts......but where do they come from? They come from within you, but you have to ask yourself the question what is feeding them? Are you consuming material that is conducive of a positive state of mind? Are the people you are talking to giving you positive advice or are they doom mongers!
Take a minute to think about this and then act upon it. Start reading positive literature (some books can be seen at the bottom of the page), do something positive as soon as you wake up such as exercise. On the way to work, listen to some positive music that gets your positive juices flowing or a positive CD such as The Secret or something from Tony Robbins. Surround yourself with people that will support your positive state of mind and reinforce the reasons why it so good to be alive and kicking!!!! (There are plenty of groups you can join in your area or on the web)
These are all things you can do right now.....take action and keep your positive and proactive mind in sync with those people who are going to give you positive reinforcement.
Remember your thoughts become things and you have the power to choose whether they are positive or negative thoughts.
