Quote of the day........

"When the archer misses the mark, he turns and looks for the fault within himself. Failure to hit the bull's eye is never the fault of the target. To improve your aim - improve yourself."

Quote of the day.........

"Goals give you more than a reason to get up in the morning; they are an incentive to keep you going all day. Goals tend to tap the deeper resources and draw the best out of life."

Update.........

"Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it."
Julius Henry "Groucho" Marx
1890-1977, Comedian and Film Star

I love the above quote as it highlights the element of choice we have in our lives. This time of year is seen as challenging by a lot of people as we have been off on a wonderful break for Christmas and New Year. Getting back into the "swing of things" can often leave people feeling low, depairing and demotivated.

Why not make a change in 2012 and view returning to work as the fuel you choose to ensure that you have a fantastic year. Work is the how you get somewhere, its what you do with what you earn that makes the massive difference.

So for those of you that are bemoaning the fact that you are returning to work after a superb festive period, remember it becomes a lot easier to return to work when you have a clear understanding of why you are going in the first place!!

It certainly focuses your mind on the positives and allows you to choose the attitude you are going to take towards each day.

Happy 2012, I know it's going to be an amazing year!

Creating mindful success.......

I love this quote from Steve Siebold that relates to choosing your attitude to the economic downturn, it reads:

Use the current economic crisis to test your mental toughness. While the average person allows circumstances to dictate his mindset, the great ones operate in a world of psychological self containment filled with thoughts of love, abundance and gratitude. Both groups have the same freedom to choose what they think, but the masses believe they are victims of circumstance. Refuse to let fear infect your consciousness by only allowing forward thinking, problem solving thoughts to occupy your mind. Build this habit when times are tough and your future success is guaranteed."

It's amazing how people of equal intelligence, equal opportunity, equal amount of time in the day have such different outlooks on the situation the economy finds itself in. How is t possible that people with equal standing have completely different outcomes? A one word answer........choice.

We choose how we respond to things and our views on them. It is just as easy to decide that we are going to see the opportunity in this market as opposed to seeing the negatives. I work in a market has been hit hard b the downturn many markets, recruitment. I train all new starters that come into our business and I tell them that they have joined the business at exactly the right time, because they are going to create their skills and develop n one f the toughest markets that there has ever been, which can only mean that they will be amazing sales people because they will be making money in what other people believe is too hard!!!!

Your attitude dictates your altitude....focus all your energy on success, happiness, abundance and love and you will receive them back to you.......
